- Edunet Foundation, in partnership with IBM SkillsBuild, presents a unique virtual internship titled **'Design Thinking with Artificial Intelligence for Non‑Technical Students.'** This six-week program offers a hands-on, project-based learning experience tailored for non-technical students across India. Through this initiative, we aim to bridge the skill gap for fresh graduates and under-represented learners, democratizing access to cutting-edge AI concepts and human-centered design methodologies.
- As an intern, you will immerse yourself in the complete Design Thinking process— from empathizing with users and defining problems to ideating, prototyping, and testing AI-enhanced solutions. Under the guidance of industry mentors and experienced facilitators, you will have the opportunity to work on real-world problem statements and generate innovative ideas.
- # Key Responsibilities
- Conduct user interviews and gather insights to understand real-world challenges.
- Define problem statements using empathy maps and journey maps.
- Ideate multiple solution concepts through brainstorming and sketching.
- Develop AI-powered prototypes using no-code platforms such as Bubble, Thunkable, or Microsoft Power Apps.
- Validate prototypes by testing with target users and iterating based on feedback.
- Document the design process and prepare a final project report.
- Present the solution to a panel of mentors and peers during a virtual demo day.
- Collaborate with fellow interns in cross-functional teams to foster peer learning.
- Maintain a personal learning journal to reflect on design thinking and AI concepts.
- Complete all mandatory assessments and quizzes on the SkillsBuild portal.
