The Mumbai CIB team collaborates with global counterparts to deliver value through deep industry expertise in over 100 countries. As part of the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function, the Financial Analysis Analyst will play a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s financial outlook and supporting strategic decision-making. # Key Responsibilities - Lead and coordinate budgeting and forecasting cycles, developing robust financial models and translating complex data into actionable insights for senior leadership. - Act as a liaison between firm-wide P&A, business lines, and functional finance teams to deliver insightful reporting. - Produce presentations, analytical decks, and supporting materials for senior management and ad-hoc projects. - Develop, consolidate, and present annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and variance analyses. - Create, maintain, and review both recurring and ad-hoc financial models. - Conduct deep-dive analyses on key issues, identify root causes, and propose data-driven solutions. - Collaborate with business partners to ensure timely and accurate delivery of initiatives. - Build and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization. - Continuously improve reporting processes and introduce best-practice analytical techniques. # Requirements - Strong quantitative abilities with excellent analytical thinking. - Proficiency in Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Oracle Essbase, VBA/macros, and preferably Python for automation and advanced analytics. - Proven communication skills, capable of translating complex financial data into understandable insights for diverse audiences. - Ability to work collaboratively as part of cross-functional teams. # Benefits - Exposure to global financial markets and mentorship from industry veterans. - A culture that rewards curiosity and high performance. - Commitment to continuous learning and career development opportunities. - Competitive compensation and a supportive work environment, making it an ideal launchpad for ambitious finance graduates.
