As an Apprentice in the Supply Chain Analytics and Business Operations team, you will have a front-row seat to the end-to-end supply chain processes that keep Itron’s products moving from suppliers to customers. This role is designed for fresh graduates from commerce or management streams who are eager to build a career in supply chain, procurement, and business analytics. You will work closely with senior analysts, procurement managers, and finance partners, gaining hands-on experience in data extraction, reporting, and process improvement. # Key Responsibilities - Support daily supply chain reporting and performance tracking. - Extract and validate data from supplier invoices (PDF/scan) for accuracy. - Verify invoice details such as supplier name, dates, amounts, taxes, PO references, and payment terms. - Assist in purchase-order, inventory, and supplier data analysis. - Maintain and update datasets, spreadsheets, and reporting templates. - Create dashboards, presentations, and business reports for stakeholders. - Identify data-quality issues and collaborate with teams to resolve them. - Document business processes, reporting requirements, and SOPs. - Contribute to continuous-improvement and automation initiatives. - Perform ad-hoc reporting and business analysis tasks as required. # Requirements - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and SQL for data querying. - Familiarity with PDF data extraction tools. - Attention to detail and strong business communication skills. - Basic scripting knowledge (Python) for automation is a plus. # Benefits - Opportunities for career progression to Analyst, Senior Analyst, and Supply Chain Manager roles. - Specialization options in procurement analytics, demand forecasting, or digital transformation projects. - A collaborative, inclusive environment that values learning and mentorship. - Exposure to sustainability-focused projects and cutting-edge technology.
