Join Bank of America’s Global Banking and Markets Coverage team as a Fresher Analyst in the GBS-R (Research) stream. The role supports the deal pipeline through industry research, financial modeling, and client-facing materials, while working in a collaborative environment focused on diversity, learning, and responsible banking.
What you’ll do
Conduct company and industry research using public filings, Bloomberg, and market reports Build, maintain, and update financial models for valuation, merger consequences, and scenario analysis Perform comparable company and precedent transaction analysis Prepare pitchbooks, presentations, and marketing memoranda for client meetings and internal review Draft credit approval memos and offering memoranda in line with internal policies Collaborate with senior bankers, product specialists, and legal teams to refine deliverables Monitor market news and macro-economic trends affecting client portfolios and deal pipelines Assist with post-deal integration, performance tracking, and reporting
Who you are
Strong skills in financial modeling, valuation, and financial statement analysis Proficiency in Excel, including macros and VBA, and PowerPoint Familiarity with Bloomberg Terminal, FactSet, Capital IQ, and SQL basics Basic knowledge of Python or R for data manipulation is a plus Excellent analytical thinking, communication, attention to detail, and teamwork Designed for ambitious recent graduates
