ExamDay is looking for an early hire to work directly with the founders and take ownership of important work across growth, customer experience, and operations. The role is about finding practical opportunities, executing them end-to-end, and helping the team move faster as the company scales.

• Spot practical opportunities to improve the business and prioritize them by impact versus effort.
• Pick up stuck work with no clear owner, gather context, decide next steps, and drive it to completion.
• Run small pilots and process improvements, then document successful workflows as SOPs.
• Conduct market research and business analysis and bring clear recommendations when founder input is needed.
• Own follow-ups and execution to close projects, stepping into urgent tasks as priorities change.
• Use AI and automation to reduce repetitive work and increase founders' execution capacity.

• Experience taking initiative and completing work independently in a startup or similarly fast-moving environment.
• Good judgment about what is worth doing, what can wait, and when to ask for a decision.
• Comfort with research, numbers, and practical execution.
• Ability to learn quickly, communicate clearly, and follow through without repeated reminders.
• Hands-on experience with Claude, Codex, or comparable tools to automate workflows, check outputs, and improve efficiency.
