Fortive is hiring an early-career Associate Data Scientist to join its Artificial Intelligence and Automation team in Bengaluru. The role combines classic analytics and machine learning with Generative AI and LLM work, giving exposure to real business problems, cross-functional collaboration, and measurable impact for Fortune 500 customers.
What you’ll do
Perform exploratory data analysis and data cleaning on large, heterogeneous datasets Develop, train, and evaluate supervised and unsupervised machine-learning models Build dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders Design and run A/B tests or experiments to validate model impact on business metrics Prototype Generative AI use-cases, including prompt engineering for LLMs Write SQL queries to extract and transform data from relational databases
Who you are
Proven foundation in statistics and machine learning Proficiency in Python and SQL Knowledge of Pandas and NumPy Experience with Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Excellent communication skills for non-technical stakeholders
