Itron is looking for an Apprentice to join its Supply Chain Analytics and Business Operations team. The role offers hands-on exposure to end-to-end supply chain processes, with a focus on data extraction, reporting, and process improvement that supports utilities, cities, and sustainability-focused work.
What you’ll do
Support daily supply chain reporting and performance tracking Extract and validate data from supplier invoices (PDF/scan) for accuracy Verify invoice details such as supplier name, dates, amounts, taxes, PO references, and payment terms Assist in purchase-order, inventory, and supplier data analysis Maintain and update datasets, spreadsheets, and reporting templates Create dashboards, presentations, and business reports for stakeholders Identify data-quality issues and collaborate with teams to resolve them Document business processes, reporting requirements, and SOPs Contribute to continuous-improvement and automation initiatives Perform ad-hoc reporting and business analysis tasks as required
Who you are
Fresh graduate from commerce or management stream Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and SQL for data querying Familiarity with PDF data extraction tools Attention to detail and strong business communication skills Basic scripting knowledge in Python is a plus
