Johnson Controls is hiring a Graduate Engineer Trainee to support Building Management Systems and HVAC automation projects. The role is designed for recent engineering graduates to gain hands-on experience in design, implementation, testing, and commissioning while working with senior engineers on global client projects.
What you’ll do
Execute design and application engineering tasks for Building Management Systems with a focus on HVAC control logic Assist in preparing Project Execution Plans with senior team members Participate in on-site installations, commissioning, and functional testing of hardware and software packages Prepare technical reports, as-built drawings, and handover documents Maintain project progress logs and share status updates with supervisors Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to troubleshoot issues and support continuous improvement
Who you are
Skills in Building Management Systems, HVAC control, project planning, and quality assurance Strong team collaboration, communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities Familiarity with building automation platforms such as Metasys and Tridium Niagara Knowledge of HVAC control algorithms, PLC programming, SCADA interfaces, AutoCAD, MS Office, and MS Project Recent engineering graduate
