Merckgroup is hiring a Software Engineer (Data & AI) to help build data engineering and AI solutions for its team in India. This role is suited to freshers and graduating batches who want to grow in data pipelines, cloud platforms, and applied AI/ML.
What you’ll do
Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Python, PySpark, and Spark Work with Snowflake for data storage, access, and management Collaborate with teams using Palantir Foundry and AWS to deliver AI and ML solutions Implement CI/CD practices to streamline deployment processes Use Git and Docker to manage code and applications Contribute to data governance and data quality initiatives Develop and integrate REST APIs for data access and functionality
Who you are
Proficiency in Python and familiarity with PySpark Understanding of data engineering concepts and foundational AI/ML knowledge Experience with SQL and data querying techniques Knowledge of Snowflake and Palantir Foundry is a plus Familiarity with AWS services and cloud computing Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and tools Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively
