About
As a Networking Managed Services Engineer (L1), you will support the networking backbone for client environments in an entry-level, client-facing role. The work centers on monitoring, first-line incident resolution, routine maintenance, ticket handling, and occasional support for automation, project delivery, and disaster-recovery activities.
What you’ll do
Monitor client networks and infrastructure using NOC dashboards and alerting tools Investigate and resolve first-line incidents using SOPs and knowledge-base articles Perform routine maintenance such as patching, configuration changes, and firmware upgrades Log activities in ITSM systems and manage ticket handovers accurately Identify recurring issues and propose automation or process optimisation solutions Support project-related configuration roll-outs, documentation, and disaster-recovery testing
Who you are
Proficiency in network monitoring and ITSM ticket handling Familiarity with Pulse Secure SSL VPN, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco Nexus, ASR, ISR, Cisco ACS, ISE, and Meraki Understanding of routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills Adaptability to diverse client environments and a willingness to learn continuously
