This role sits within Qualcomm’s Modem-RF Software team in Hyderabad and focuses on software for modem-RF transceivers. What you’ll do
Develop, debug, and maintain C/C++ drivers for Modem-RF transceivers on embedded RTOS platforms Implement and optimize RF front-end algorithms, antenna tuning, and link-budget calculations Collaborate with RF hardware engineers to integrate and validate new silicon features and test-mode functionalities Create automated test scripts and validation suites using protocol test equipment, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes Diagnose RF-modem issues reported by field teams and propose software-level fixes Support silicon bring-up, factory testing, and post-silicon validation
Who you are
Proficient in C and C++ programming Knowledge of Embedded RTOS and basic Linux kernel operations Familiarity with RF theory, digital communications, LTE, and 5G NR protocols Experience with modem driver development and debugging with protocol test equipment Proficient in Python scripting and version control using Git
