Engineer – Software Test & Release is an operational QA role for fresh graduates or candidates with up to two years of experience. The role focuses on ensuring software releases meet high standards of functionality, performance, and reliability through a mix of testing, automation, documentation, and support work.
What you’ll do
Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for new features and bug fixes Build and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Java, and TestNG Perform regression, smoke, and sanity testing across multiple environments Log defects in JIRA, track them, and verify fixes Collaborate with developers, prepare test summary reports and release notes Provide post-release support and monitor production issues
Who you are
Proficiency in manual testing and automation testing Familiarity with Selenium, Java, TestNG, JIRA, Git, and SQL Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies Strong defect tracking and technical documentation skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
