Third Act is looking for a detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to help keep fundraising, financial, and operational systems running smoothly. This part-time role supports the behind-the-scenes processes that power the organization’s climate and democracy work, helping a mission-driven team stay organized and effective.
What you’ll do
Support the planning and execution of fundraising calls and events, including logistics, coordination, and follow-up Manage incoming organizational mail, process donor contributions, deposit checks, and route correspondence Maintain accurate donor, volunteer, and constituent records in organizational databases Process reimbursements, vendor payments, invoices, and expense documentation accurately and on time Support financial administration for volunteer Working Groups, including expense requests, payment cards, and budget tracking Coordinate travel requests, reimbursements, and general administrative support as needed
Who you are
2+ years of experience in operations, administration, finance, development, project coordination, or a similar role Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail Experience maintaining accurate records, databases, or financial information with confidentiality Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to coordinate across multiple teams Proficiency with Google Workspace and comfort learning new software and systems Ability to work independently, manage competing deadlines, and proactively identify solutions Commitment to Third Act’s mission of protecting climate and strengthening democracy
