Terms of Service

SculptCV provides AI-assisted resume analysis and rewriting. You upload a PDF resume, paste a job description, and we return: (a) an ATS-style match score, (b) structured feedback on strengths and gaps, and (c) optionally a rewritten resume PDF.

The AI is a tool to help you draft and tailor your resume. Final accuracy is your responsibility. We make no guarantee about job outcomes, interview rates, or accuracy of any specific generated content. Review and edit AI output before submitting to any employer.

To use SculptCV you must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.

You create an account using your email address (magic link) or a connected Google / LinkedIn identity. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure and for all activity on your account. Notify us at support@sculptcv.com immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

One person per account. Do not share access. Do not create an account on behalf of someone else without their explicit permission.

Free tier: unlimited resume analysis and AI rewrite generation. Downloaded PDFs carry a watermark.

₹30 unlocks the 7-day Clean Download Pass. During the 7 days following successful payment, you can download as many watermark-free PDFs as you want from your account. The pass expires automatically; we do not auto-renew.

Payments are processed by Razorpay. By paying you also agree to Razorpay's terms. GST (where applicable) is included in the displayed price.

We offer refunds in these specific situations:

• PDF generation fails after payment despite repeated attempts on supported devices and browsers — full refund within 5 business days of contacting support.
• You were charged twice for the same pass due to a webhook delivery issue or browser glitch — refund the duplicate within 5 business days.
• Payment captured but pass not activated within 30 minutes of payment confirmation, and we cannot manually resolve it — full refund within 5 business days.

Refunds are not available for: (a) dissatisfaction with the AI-generated content quality, (b) change of mind after the pass is active and used to download at least one clean PDF, or (c) inability to use the service for reasons outside our control (lost internet, OS incompatibility, etc.).

To request a refund, email support@sculptcv.com from the email registered with your account, with your Razorpay payment ID and a brief description of the issue.

You agree not to:

• Use the service to harass, defame, threaten, or impersonate any person, including yourself representing as someone else for fraudulent purposes.
• Upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property, including resumes that aren't yours without the owner's permission.
• Use the service to generate misleading or fabricated employment history. The AI helps you reframe and articulate real experience; it does not exist to create fiction. Submitting fabricated content to employers is your problem, but using SculptCV to systematically do so may result in account termination.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract bulk data from the service. This includes automated PDF generation, mass uploads, or harvesting our AI prompts.
• Circumvent rate limits, paywalls, security controls, or the watermark.
• Attempt to overload, disrupt, or compromise the service or any underlying infrastructure.
• Use the service for any illegal activity or in violation of any applicable law (including data protection, employment discrimination, and anti-fraud laws).

We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially violate these terms, with or without notice depending on severity. We'll refund any unused 7-day-pass time on good-faith terminations.

You own your content. Resumes you upload and content you create through the service remain yours. You grant SculptCV a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process, store, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

We own the platform. SculptCV, the codebase, design system, AI prompts, brand assets, and the service workflow are our intellectual property. The service is licensed to you, not sold.

AI-generated content (your tailored resume) is yours to use freely. We do not claim copyright in AI output produced from your inputs.

Aggregate, anonymized analytics derived from how the service is used (e.g., common skill gaps across all users in aggregate, average match scores by job category) may be used by us to improve the product. This data does not identify individual users or contain raw resume content.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure against all attacks, or that AI-generated output will be accurate, complete, suitable for any specific job application, or free from bias.

Resume tailoring is a tool, not a guarantee. You remain solely responsible for the content of any resume you submit to any employer.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither SculptCV nor its founder, contributors, or sub-processors will be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or lost opportunity arising from your use of the service.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the total amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) INR 5,000.

These limits apply even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages, and even if any limited remedy is found to have failed of its essential purpose.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SculptCVand its founder from any claim, demand, loss, or damage (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of: (a) your use of the service in violation of these Terms or any law, (b) content you upload that infringes a third party's rights, or (c) any false or misleading content you submit to an employer that you generated with our tool.

By you: you can stop using the service and delete your account at any time by emailing support@sculptcv.com. We'll delete your data per the retention rules in our Privacy Policy.

By us:we can suspend or terminate your account if you materially violate these Terms, if we're legally required to, or if continuing to provide the service to you presents an unreasonable risk to other users or the platform. We'll refund any unused 7-day-pass time if we terminate without cause.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination (Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law) survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India.

Informal resolution first. If you have a dispute with us, please email support@sculptcv.comwith a description of the issue. We'll respond within 7 days and try to resolve in good faith for 30 days before any formal proceeding.

Arbitration. If informal resolution fails, any unresolved dispute will be referred to arbitration under the Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, by a sole arbitrator appointed by mutual agreement, or failing that, as appointed under the Act. Seat and venue: Bangalore, India. Language: English. Each party bears its own costs unless the arbitrator orders otherwise.

Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek emergency injunctive relief in the courts of Bangalore, India.

The service is actively evolving. We may add, modify, or remove features, change pricing for new purchases, or discontinue the service entirely. Material changes that affect features you've paid for (e.g., we discontinue the 7-day pass with you still mid-pass) will trigger a pro-rated refund of unused time.

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. We'll announce material changes via email and an in-app banner at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you don't agree to a change, your remedy is to stop using the service and delete your account before the effective date.

Entire agreement: these Terms together with the Privacy Policy form the entire agreement between you and SculptCV regarding the service.

Severability: if any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

No waiver: our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.

Force majeure: neither party is liable for failure to perform due to causes outside its reasonable control (natural disasters, war, pandemic, internet outages, government action, third-party provider outages).

Assignment: you may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms to a successor in connection with a merger, sale of assets, or acquisition, with notice to you.
